The President and his advisors are just puppets put up there for show. Well shut my mouth and hush my puppies! We actually agree on something.

I passed 4 stations on the way to and from the nature trail where we walked this morning. The prices ranged from $2.57 to $2.75.

If you figured your cost for the extra mileage you drive, including wear and tear on your vehicle, you're probably losing money. And that's not counting anything for what your time is worth. I will not go out of my way to buy gas. I will try to hit the cheapest station along the route I am taking anyway, but that's all. And I will only go to stations that I can access and egress easily. Preferably with right in right out turns. If getting in and out is a hassle, I'll pass it up. The same goes for busy stations. If I see that I will have to wait for a pump, I pass.

I work in Northern Virginia, near Tysons Corner so for me it really isn't that far away from my house.... from work to my home is less than 15 minutes drive so it really isn't "out of my way" but Yes... I know a lot of people who will drive way out of Montgomery County and Howard County (the two highest priced counties for gas) to Baltimore County or to Anne Arundel Counties for gasoline..... that for me is a little extreme....

Filled up for $2.57 a gallon this morning. $30 bucks for 11.67 gallons. 260 miles since the last fill-up so that's 260/11.67 = 22.28 miles per gallon. Not bad for around town with a 9 year old Accord with 114,000 miles on it.
