Postal union leaders in five battleground states told ABC News that they have seen few concrete steps to reverse or halt a set of cost-cutting measures that have slowed mail service, despite assurances last week from Postmaster General Louis DeJoy that he would “suspend” those initiatives until after the general election.
For now, the union officials said DeJoy's initiatives remain in place -- despite a deluge of legal and legislative efforts to reverse them. As a result, and with the clock ticking on election day, many of them said the mail continues to pile up in sorting facilities.
Dejoy lied to try and get congress off his back, it is likely, he will have to be sidelined to get the post office back, he will never give up his beloved cost cutting mess.

We sure do not want to take cost-cutting measures (sic). There is no new problem with our USPS delivery. It become political thanks to Pelosi's fight with Trump.

It become political thanks to Pelosi's fight with Trump. Are you saying she should bow down to this peace of crap, to keep the peace so trump will stop messing with the USPS for his voting suppression tactics? Isn't going to happen! She one tough lady that can stand her ground and your boy just doesn't know how to deal with strong women.

Not now, it's sick to slow a vital lifeline, in a pandemic, penny wise and pound foolish.
It would have been good to warn people, if you are going to slow their lifeline to life saving drugs!!!!!!
I know these kind of bean counters, it never works.
More trampen history rewriting. tramp Admits He’s Starving the Postal Service to Sabotage Voting by Mail. Pelosi had said nothing about the mail before that.

WASHINGTON (AP) — During its search for a new postmaster general, the U.S. Postal Service Board of Governors was presented with 53 candidates screened by an outside company. Not on the list: Louis DeJoy, who ultimately got the job.

I opened it up and was immediately hit with the smell of death,” he said of the most recent box he received two weeks ago. “Sometimes, the post office would call us in the morning and say, ‘Get these things out of here,’ because they smelled so bad.”
Hundreds of baby birds Gray ordered this summer have died, and he said he had to cancel his remaining orders and renegotiate his farm loan because of nearly $4,000 in losses — more than 10 percent of what he’d hoped to earn this year.
Recent Postal Service delays have affected millions of Americans’ packages and letters, but the impact has been particularly widespread and difficult in rural communities, which depend on the federal agency more than densely populated regions of the United States.
In addition to chicks and other small livestock, including honeybees, farmers order seeds and specialty tools they can no longer purchase locally. Meanwhile, hundreds of rural pharmacies have closed in recent years, leaving residents dependent on mailed prescriptions. In addition, millions of people living in remote areas lack broadband internet, so they rely on the Postal Service to pay bills, receive paychecks, conduct business and correspond with family and friends
The Government needs to get broadband internet to all

It should be against the law to mail live animals!
We are a cruel, evil, and barbaric people who put live beings in the same category as junk mail.
We're the junk!

It become political thanks to Pelosi's fight with Trump. With Trump trying to effect the election by sabotaging the USPS it was POLITICAL from day one, can you imagine any Speaker of the House(except a Republican one) being OK with that?
