One of our group leaders was working at home to be a backup for her primary job.
Well you never think it's going to happen, but she had to go in. at one for her primary job location everyone got sick
they sprayed the place down with some yellow sticky stuff, before she could go in.
She had a long day!!! The tests have not come back yet.
But my bet is on the tests being positive.
She a hard worker, but she was tired.

The stories continue as more and more have this dastardly virus hit close to home. And, as it continues to inflict its wave of illness more and more folks will be affected. Much cannot be helped. Much could be prevented if it weren't for those whose minds have been corrupted by the divisive politics of today.
Our church has been having virtual services. They have a YouTube channel and folks can watch the services live or recorded. Last night was the Good Friday service. Our granddaughter volunteered to be the acolyte. The pastor limited those in the church to 10. Pastor, our granddaughter, our daughter, our SIL, organist, a reader, and four choir members... everyone to be spaced the required social distancing. We live streamed the service. My wife commented it sounded like more than just a few were singing, but the video did not show the congregational seating area. Daughter called when they got home after the service. She said when those 9 "invited" and the pastor arrived, the church door was locked. Pretty soon, they heard banging on the door. More folks came in. They were cautioned to keep the required spacing. Door locked. More banging on the door. She said there were between 30 and 40 people who demanded admittance. She and the SIL had to move twice because people would come right into the pew in which they were sitting and plop down. No social distancing practiced. She said the pastor was upset, but didn't have the backbone to tell the folks to leave. She was really upset!!
As they left the church a police office was sitting in his car near the front door. Thanks to our GOP legislature, there was nothing he could do since they overturned Governor Kelly's order for no more than 10 people in a church service. As they were walking to their car, they overheard another couple talking about "guess we showed those liberals they can't kill Christianity". The lady making those remarks has worked side by side with our daughter in youth programs at the church. Daughter was so mad she was spitting fire in my ear over the phone.
I'm still fuming this morning. The Kansas Supreme Court is meeting this morning to hear arguments from the Governor and the legislative committee that overturned her executive order. The hope is that they will uphold her order and law enforcement will be in place by tonight/tomorrow. Folks, this is a Missouri Synod Lutheran Church, not some evangelical "Baptist like" denomination! They know better!! But, as the daughter pointed out, we are in the middle of the Midwest in a very "Trump-loving" rural area. Expectations of common sense and respect for the health of your family, friends, and neighbors takes second place to the demands of your Fox/Limbaugh/Trump cult leaders.
Yes, thanks to the lack of leadership in the Country more and more of us will become ill... or worse... before this pandemic subsides.

That is so awful. It's disheartening to find trumpers among friends and acquaintances you formerly thought were sensible people.
