All 3 of our businesses are shut down because they are "non-essential". We are lucky that we have savings to fall back on and I'm a bit of a minimalist, so we don't have many bills.
I'm just so use to staying busy... and now I'm not even seeing my mom because the nursing home is on lockdown. I've kind of thrown myself into doing things around the house and I'm gardening a lot. I usually keep a garden, but this year I feel it may just be greatly needed later on, so I'm trying to grow as much produce as I am able. I'm also meditating even more than usual because it feels completely essential during this time to keep my mind at ease & everything in perspective. Being outside in nature helps as well.
My uncle texted yesterday and told me our cousin & her husband (both older people) in Virginia Beach tested positive and her husband is now in the hospital because of it. I think everyone is feeling the brunt of this in one way or another.
I'm glad TRF can serve as an outlet for everyone. It's always good to talk about things with others who understand and care for one another. I'm around if anyone needs me and will be checking in regularly. Everyone please take all of the precautions and stay safe!

He was doing really well they were talking about doing tests to get tube out. Kidneys started giving trouble and were talking about dialysis. Then last night about 10pm he went into cardiac arrest. They tried for 25 minutes to revive him. But failed.

Thank you all for your warm thoughts. I'm hanging in there. Family in Michigan is helping with arrangements etc. The worst thing is none of us can hug each other and we can't have a service until this chaos is one.
