I was never a fan of the Patriots... or Brady. Still, Brady will go down in the sports history books for his achievements on the gridiron. A second-string, backup quarterback to Drew Bledsoe. Bledsoe was injured in the first game of the 2001 season. Brady stepped in and the rest is history. Bledsoe was traded and never was a factor with any other team. Meanwhile, Brady and Belichick put together a dynasty where both have a fistful of Super Bowl rings. Ten NFL teams did not make the playoffs this year. The Pats did, lost in the first round, and it's being considered as a travesty. Sheesh! Give 'em a break! Brady's 42 years old. He has more money than he can ever spend in a lifetime. Beautiful wife and kids. Could undoubtedly land a high paying job in the coaching or administration side of the NFL. Still sounds like he wants to keep playing. Again, even though never being a fan, I applaud him for his accomplishments and wish him well.

He is to be a free agent, and the Steelers could use a good back up quarterback with all their injuries. nkat

Steelers sure don't need to pick up Brady for a back up quarterback.
Brady should retire at his age, while he's still in good health.

Maybe the Steelers can pick him up as a back up quarterback. nkat At one time, was a quasi Steelers fan. Mean Joe Green... Franco Harris... Enjoyed watching them play. Thought Chuck Noll was a magician with how he coached them from the cellar to a dynasty. Then... Was at a conference where Terry Bradshaw was a keynote speaker. What an egotistical blob!!! What was supposed to be a motivational speech was nothing but him telling how great he was, all the women that fawned over him, off color jokes to a professional mixed gender audience. He was booed a lot more than applauded. A number of attendees I spoke with thought he acted like he was inebriated. Totally lost respect for him and have never liked the Steelers since. Have a good friend in the Pittsburgh area who is a die-hard Steeler fan. He even bought a new Ford truck, some years ago, that was black and gold. He's a great guy, if I could just get him to give up his Steelers love! :>)
