You constantly make reference to this (miracle) "gel." So...What's the name of this "gel" you are using, where are you buying it and how much does it cost?

It's costs approx. $75/month, we use it 7 days normally, some use it 5 days and take 2 days off. So a bottle lasts me 6-8 weeks, almost 2 months, so I pay $160 which includes tax and shipping. Once I mention costs, people get turned off. If people have a genuine interest I'll talk to them individually, so they can message me. Otherwise, I don't want to see the product blasted by many who have no idea how pricey HGH products are...all of them..
For what it's doing for my daughter and I it's worth every penny. I buy NO high tech stuff so have extra money for my health. And this gel is changing so much and the thought of knee replacement is no more with me NOW.....
My health is #1, not gadgets.
I spend about $160 every two months, I get every other month auto ship.

Antioxidants and DementiaI sometimes go to the Caregivers group on the other forum I'm a member of and have been avoiding it as it's depressing, disheartening etc etc...so today I read some new members dealing with their spouses, parents, even siblings who are in the throws of dementia/alzheimers. Folks think about this, foods are vital for prevention and I believe in Supplements too for this deadly condition. Work to keep those amyloid plaques from your brain. www.alzheimers.org.uk/about-dementia/risk-factors-and-prevention/antioxidants

Work to keep those amyloid plaques from your brain. www.alzheimers.org.uk/about-dementia/risk-factors-and-prevention/antioxidants Dementia is also an umbrella name for Alzheimer's, Vascular Dementia, and many other names. Diabetes, depression, kidney failure, inflammation, tumors, stroke, medication reactions, opiods, and more also mimic dementia. So over all health is a huge factor. There is no cure for Dementia, it is a disease of the brain. However so many factors which include the environment can contribute to this. As we age so does our body and brain cells. I'm for prevention, but it has to start young. I prefer to keep active, eat well, and stay extremely active. I am a CareGiver. Dementia is horrible. Good article but the results quote from this article : For example, in vitro studies show antioxidants reduce the toxicity of amyloid-beta, but long-term studies in people have shown conflicting results. My thoughts are this.... do whatever it takes to help yourself. We know so little about Alzheimer's and Dementia ... and the brain.

Louie: Nothing is concrete in what "they" all know but I've read enough about antioxidants for prevention and Vit C, Grape Seed Extract and others are great antioxidants. And inexpensive POSSIBLE Prevention....and these antioxidants can prevent cancer(s) as I've read for years.

joymartyTrue enough, I worked with a chiropractor for a very long time and he practiced alternative medicine for himself. As of this date he is still working on patients and he is 74. So there is something there right? However, it is not for everyone. What can we do now for those that suffer from dementia and other health conditions? That is what I wish I knew the answer to.

That's why I talk about Prevention and not get to the point of being in the condition. I know my brain is working good and no bad stuff here healthwise and I know it's the antioxidants...the OA issues are all worse due to surgery mess. Which I've mentioned, regrets..too late thou. There is so much info out there at our fingertips. One can do a search with just about every health issue and antioxidants and get hits.

joymartyI understand. I have OA of the fingers, thumb joints, and toes which can be very painful. For me what works is working out and doing CrossFit. More oxygen to the brain, relieves stress, reduces BP, increases bone density, and fights OA. The mental uplift from the exercise is incredible. This is my prevention. :)

I do at least 30 minutes of stretches before I leave my bedroom every day and go thru the PT exercises I learned in the 3 rehabs for the knee infection mess which is a result from hip job . It's all connected in my body. I did a life of dancing and exercising and had to stop it all in early 60's due to advancing OA...so I know the drill....been there and now at 81 here I am...my trusty friend is the walker. Never dreamed it.
