"Diary of a Madman" as I see it...
I'm out of time. The list could go on and on and on... And a significant number of our neighbors and fellow citizens still believe he walks on water.
- Took the word of Putin over our own intelligence agencies. Has held secret meetings with Putin, a sworn enemy of the U.S. Shredded the nuclear non-proliferation agreement between the U.S. and Russia... because it was negotiated by a former POTUS and Trump thinks he can do better. This past week, Putin threatened to ramp up production of nuclear arms due to the non-proliferation agreement no longer in force.
- Considers the tyrannical leader of North Korea as his personal friend. Kim has threatened to wipe the U.S. off the map with nuclear weapons. Kim is once again testing missiles and Trump just shrugs his shoulder, saying "I trust him. He is my friend and wouldn't do anything to hurt that friendship."
- Has started a trade war with China that is on the cusp of bankrupting many U.S. businesses. Even though proclaiming the evil of socialism in his many campaign events, he authorizes millions of tax dollars go to the agricultural industry to make up for the money lost due to his trade war.
- For the first time in the history of the U.S. we have a government functioning with most all the Cabinet and upper echelon positions filled by "acting" appointees. We no longer have those positions confirmed by the Senate. They are "Yes" people, with allegiance sworn to a man and not the country. He keeps nominating candidates for these positions who have not been vetted and are do not come close to meeting the qualifications to properly carry out the duties of said positions.
- The day after two mass killings are carried out on U.S. soil, instead of addressing the issue he is on the golf course.
- Has stoked hate towards immigrants and people of color. Social media posts and manifestos from mass murderers proclaim their allegiance to Trump and that they are acting to carry out his "work". Yet, he refuses to take any responsibility for his hate-mongering and tries to place blame on video games.
- After the Florida school shooting, Obama ordered open communication between government agencies in an attempt to keep firearms out of the hands of at least a few more mentally ill. Trump has rescinded that order, once again removing the communication chain between agencies that could save lives.
- He still threatens the press when they print factual information that casts a negative view of him. He calls actual video evidence of him making hate-provoking statements and outright lies as "fake news". He demands the American people pay no attention to the investigation into Russia involvement in the 2016 election and/or his obstruction of justice.
