Yes, I've got good genes, Nkat, but I've also finally woke up and changed my ways with the sugars/carbs...and I LOVE not giving my money to the dentists and doctors. And all that sugar/carb consumption I would sure be fearful of the dread diabetes disease. And why deal with cancers when there are Preventions we can adhere to. I agree that an overloaded diet of sugars and carbs are not good for you. We can also balance our lives with exercise and cardio work which helps with arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, and bodily functions and sleep. I see my grand kids eating tons of sugar and not very good food with NO exercise. They are sick all of the time. The parents are ticking time bombs from lack of exercise and poor diets. I work out with an 86 yr old who takes almost no meds. He has had a knee and hip replaced but can still ride his bicycle 20 miles a day. Diet and exercise are two of the most dependable ways to stay healthy. As I said before, my sister has had 3 types of cancer and no one has a history of it. What caused it? No one is certain. |

I count on my antioxidants to PREVENT cancers and so far I'm good. Grape Seed Extract going on 25 yrs and Vit C many years and some others along the way. I'm 81...no spring chicken but I truly believe supplements are paying their way for me.

I count on my antioxidants to PREVENT cancers and so far I'm good. Grape Seed Extract going on 25 yrs and Vit C many years and some others along the way. I'm 81...no spring chicken but I truly believe supplements are paying their way for me. Awesome! What do you do to maintain healthy bone mass? Many of the older woman we have in our gym are doing aerobic and weights to maintain their bone health and their balance health, along with keeping up their strength. It is humbling to work out with a 75 and 82 year old and see how healthy and energetic they are. Our Wellness Center provides a huge discount for those over 65 to come in and use the gym. |

I had to stop my my gym workouts at about 63, joints were getting so damaged so I had to "get smart" to save my joints. I make sure I get plenty of magnesium for bone health and my D3 and K2 and lots of stretching. A joint replacement at 72 really messed up my body and now living with this hardware and nerve damage is with me all the time. I worked with the rubber bands for a lot of years and don't much anymore...I think I'm doing pretty well at 81, I'd like to be better but this is what I got. On the joints, a friend who lived to 95 was still walking blocks and claims the glucosomaine she took for 25 yrs was a huge factor. I take Cosamin DS daily and when I think of quitting I think of my friend and buy more Cosamin. She did NOT have any joint surgeries and I believe those invasive surgeries do a lot more damage to our bodies. |

Oh please! Grape seed extract kills prostate cancer cells? So how come it hasn't cured the staph infection in your knee if it's such a miracle??  So when you discover you have advanced breast cancer because you refuse mammograms, will grape seed extract cure that as well?? For all the bragging about your health you certainly don't sound very healthy to me since you can't even do your own shopping. |

For all the bragging about your health you certainly don't sound very healthy to me since you can't even do your own shopping. I'm very healthy and my issues are from damage at the hands of a surgeon with knee surgery and his work and all t he damage done.... The knee infection from a needle from a doctor and injections. And why grape seed didn't cure it, GSE, doesn't do everything. The infection was so bad the docs didn't find it for 2.5 months and kept my body infected for all that time. They finally did an MRI and found it. I have not had a cold, flu, sore throat in over 20 yrs..You? Any colds? And don't read the info links I've posted, it's not my info...many research labs are using Grape Seed Ex in their research for Breast Cancer, Prostate, Colon and Skin Cancers. I don't make this up. And I believe those mammograms are barberic and there is info one can read that they may do harm and spread cancer cells. My mom and all her sisters never had these screenings and none ever had B.C. and if they had it, they died with it in their late 80's and 90's.... I don't buy into many of the pushed tests but I do buy into prevention learning and it's all at my finger tips and for my mind to digest. |

And it's truly amazing, all those who attack any alternative protocols have no interest in them but want to attack others who do. The same thing goes on with another group I'm a member but thank goodness it's a huge membership and PLENTY of alternative healing members.
Big Pharma loves all those who attack other healing therapies.

On blocking members, I won't do that, I read a lot of info, and some things help me and a lot doesn't and I certainly don't get myself in a tizzy about others opinions and blocking, we all have something to say ... I know what I believe in for myself.
And for those who have such a strong dislike and "fear" of grape seed extract, just know it was in Europe long before it came to the U.S. from France. Good lordy.....and thank goodness it made it here, and if it was splashed all over the tv's then it would be more accepted, I guess....

Sensible diet is a balance it true that a low carb diet much better for you but a low carb high fat Diet is not beneficial the key is moderation and some sugar just fine Traditional Taiwanese food does no include loads of sugary dessert at least at dinner but Taiwanese love ice creams ...Shaved ice and other “cold” desserts mainly because it very hot there most summers very hot day over 98F and extremely humid sometime night seem more hot than day!! Cream cakes or other gooey “American style” dessert be like goo in a street market Sugar no enemy for me I also have strong teeth
