Do not wish to cause discord.
I was brought up a NH Democrat. I tend to be Socially liberal and fiscally moderate.
People need to be free to be who they are.
But the US Government can't fix all ills with a program
tramp is the enemy, hopefully we can all come together and remove this stain from the US!

If he is not repudiated at the ballot box that stain will stick long after we are all dead.

Some good can come from every bad situation. Post Trump there might be a general consensus to only elect presidents who will truly uphold and defend the Constitution. Also, the process of confirming judicial appointments might become more politically impartial.

I like your whole post, particularly- "People need to be free to be who they are." That is guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution, too bad certain right wing parties can't abide by the concept.
...after 228 years from the adoption of the Bill of Rights the Nation is still struggling to fully implement those guaranteed individual rights.
The powerful & wealthy have their rights, and seek to suppress the rights of the common citizen.
Who's the enemy? The powerful & wealthy, led by their advocate and illegally installed puppet- Donald Trump.

Maybe so, but I'm not holding my breath.
