As we speak, Trump is publicly awarding Tiger Woods the Presidential Medal Of Freedom.

And now our esteemed leader says he will give Woods a Presidential Medal of Freedom for his winning The Masters. What??!!?? I know Woods has visited Mar-a-lago and played golf with Trump. Still. The Presidential Medal of Freedom for winning a golf tournament? Doesn't that diminish the meaning of that award? Three other golfers have been given the medal. Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Charley Sifford. Palmer and Nicklaus, I don't know why other than perhaps their impact on them using the game of golf to be further the image of the U.S. in Europe and Asia. Obama awarded the Medal to Sifford for breaking the color barrier in the PGA. But, I guess if we reward someone noted for their indiscretions with porn stars with a position in the White House, maybe it's okay to reward someone with similar indiscretions with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. I completely agree with you!

I guess everybody here is without sin! It seems like Tiger is getting his life back personally also, so I will wish him well and not dwell on past sins. His past will always haunt him as he is in the public eye. How about you? Would you like yours dragged out? Sorry, I forgot that everybody here never made a mistake in their life. Did not realize I was with a bunch of perfect folks. Guess I will move on.
MY point with Tiger Woods is why are we now awarding medals of freedom to people who win golf tournaments? I thought the medal of freedom meant much more than that. Are we going to start awarding medals of freedom to everyone who wins at a sport? I just don't get it.
