Rough day. Didn't get caught up with Forum Games. Will try again in the morning. Nothing serious, just loaded myself with too many to-do things.

Take it from one who has experienced it. Ma'am, I'm 76 and will turn 77 in November. I go to bed with aches and pains and wake up with a few different ones. But, if something hurts, I know I woke up!! One of the best players in our golf group is 82. He tries to play golf seven days/week. Then, a couple days/week he and his wife bike for 7 to 10 miles. Visited, yesterday, with a gentleman who's 93. He had just finished playing 18 holes of golf. Stopped by the clubhouse to visit and drink a beer on his way home. When I've been going to cardio rehab, many are much younger than I am. When granddaughter was doing clinicals in a cardiac ward she called me. "Grandpa, these are just old people in here!" Some of those who work out every day and appear to be in perfect health, go early. Some of those who do everything wrong, live into their 90's. I just have made up my mind not to spend the time I have left sitting in a recliner watching soap opera reruns. :>) Overheard a conversation, Monday, during my last day going to cardio rehab. Two guys about my age were commenting about some recent deaths in our community. Three people one of them knew had all passed in the last 30 days. All were in their 50's. He said, "I'm just so glad I'm not that young any more!" Hope your eyes are getting better! I was supposed to go in for another cataract consult this past week. Doctor's office got appointment times messed up so had to reschedule. At this age, we can't see and we can't hear... but they still let us drive!!!!

The saying use it or lose it is very apt. Sitting around all day is not good for the body or the brain.

Ray and Marg got married in 1946 so they have been married 77 years ( in Feb) they are both still very active I think it’s essential to mix with others / where you can chat and have a giggle or two and ……do some movements that involve twisting or turning to keep our balance ( as we do dancing ) or golf Of course in Mr old case ….. In Australia it’s getting that way we have to take care of ourselves as there isn’t anyone else who’s going to ….Doctor visits are getting expensive ….Aust is over run with new arrivals ….hospitals are over run …sigh … We are off to find a dancing venue on Sunday afternoon in Canbera ACT ( 1300 Km from home ) I’ve already spoken to the people who run the dance so it sounds like it would be lotsa fun ….they stay at the club for tea after the dance to socialise

Canberra is Australia's bush capital Dusty. The bush isn't very far away at all, so I reckon wildlife would visit Canberra quite frequently. It sounds as if Skippy zigged when he should have zagged lol. Not good about the tyres.

Roos don’t live in suburbia .. …in Australia View AttachmentWe're seeing significant urbanization of wildlife in the U.S. Our town is about 50,000. We have a large university in the center of town. Coyotes, deer, fox, etc. are seen often. Daughter lives closer to the center of town than we do. They have photos of 7 deer in the lawn across the street. They had a coyote that hung out in their back yard for almost an entire winter. For the most part, the wildlife do no harm. Now and then, someone will lose a cat or small dog to the coyotes. The deer are beautiful and do no harm, except maybe cleaning out someone's garden. Now, the day I look out our window and see a kangaroo on the front lawn............
