Keep pushing for the cardiologist's appointment Dusty. One of DS1 saying is the squeaky wheel gets the oil. I am thinking you will put the Qld holiday on hold for the time being.

I have just remembered that you are 30 minutes behind us. So instead of phoning now you have another 30 minutes to go. Time for another cuppa and a few games lol.

Well I phoned the specialist centre where our GP sent the referral …They went and got the fax from the machine that was sent yesterday …..and said it will be given to the Cardiologist to read today then an appointment will be made for him In the meantime I phoned a private practice for a cost of possibly seeing someone if the other one drags it’s heels …..First consult that includes an echo and a stress test $489 out of pocket in costs after Medicare rebates , however that doesn’t include anther $378 (no rebate from Medicare) …… to come back see the doctor for the stress and echo results They WONT give you results on-the same day ……Been there when I seen adr I the same practice for my BP . No wonder our public Heath system is so overrun with patients What happened to our once great Heath care system. Hubs is good at the moment but it still needs checking out why it happened ….so we are at the mercy of the doctors joybelle

That is so good to read Dusty. I am not surprised because R's BP is incredibly high. Will you stay over in Adelaide?
