Thanks for the information about "Deleted" everyone. I'm sure we've all felt that way at one time or another. Welcome back, Dusty. Don't delete yourself again!
By the way, your new avatar is the same one Birdgal uses. When I first saw it, I thought she had joined the Game Forum. Welcome back.

Well I should have known it was going to one of those days when nothing go’s as planned ….I got up,rushed to say hello on here , had a quick shower to get to physio for my leg.
Only to be phoned on the way …oh sorry we have to cancel your appointment at 15 mins notice
Apparently the physio had spent 5 mins in the Brisbane airport on Monday and was informed today he has to isolate for 14 days ( for non Aussies Brisbane is the capitol city of Queensland ) due to a you know what popping it’s ugly head up AGAIN in Qld and New South Wales

The whole world is subject to convid at the moment Dusty, however Australia is in a better situation than most of the rest of world. He will only have to isolate until he brings back a negative result.

Up at 3 a.m. when a heavy thunderstorm rolled through. So... I got a jump on accomplishing my daily task of catching up with Forum Games. Now... it's breakfast time.....

Wish we would get some rain. This area is parched. The trees are wilting. Plus, this is a record-breaking heat wave for our state. I don't feel well in hot, humid weather. Global warming is scary.

Global warming is very scrary ruby. We are experiencing a very wet winter. It will fill up the groundwater for summer. I know what drought is all about and it is devastating. Sending good vibes to you for rain.

Meeting our Minnesota relatives in Iowa week after next for our annual golf outing/get together. One says he will pull a trailer down in hopes he can find some hay bales to haul back. His pasture is totally burned out by the heat and lack of moisture. The other cousin lives on a lake. The lake is the lowest he's ever seen it. Can't even put their boat in from the dock.

We got a bit of rain this morning, but not enough to stop the drought. We need an all-day hard rain.

We live in the driest state in Australia , ( South Australia ) We rarely have humid weather but when we do i say if we wanted to have / live in humid conditions we’d go up the top of Aust to live …….I hate humid conditions … We had a very cool summer ( we are in winter now) ruby but we didn’t get our normal thunder storm or two during summer so didn’t have a drop of rain for close to 6 months . We live 2 hours from the city of Adelaide they quite often get rain and we miss out . We’ve had a quite a bit of rain in the last 2 weeks Hubby keeps a record so the normally parched wheat paddocks and surrounding are looking nice and green . We had around the 3 inches of rain in the last 2 weeks

It's good to see you back here, Dusty. I myself, have not been here in quite a while either, and I haven't a wonderful list of valid excuses, as you have! I have been feeling very be-draggled, and was seeking my distractions elsewhere..... Till tonight, I decided to look back here. I thought I'd say Hello Again, to all of you, on this thread.
