You wouldn't be so amused if you were the constant brunt of his attacks.... would you? Oh.. but I guess you wouldn't fight back.. and he would just go away... right?

Normally I would counter you with something equally insulting... however, I see that it is causing some members to be uncomfortable or even to consider leaving.. Rather than that.. I concede... You WIN!! You beat me!! You are the Alpha Poster.. I'm not going to play the game any longer for the sake of others and the sake of the forum. BYE.. Have fun talking to yourself. It would be interesting to get other members views on this.. Perhaps a joint "Ignore" is in order?

I wouldn't be amused but neither would I bother to engage. You put yourself in the position of Sisyphus who was condemned to repeatedly roll a heavy rock up a hill in Hades only to have it roll down again as it nears the top. A painful but futile exercise.
My daughter had a tormenter in senior school. She dealt with it by smiling and remarking, "I love you too, Heidi". It annoyed Heidi no end.
Just one option. Not necessarily the best one. That is another option.
By the way "tickets please" was something we used to say to someone with an inflated idea of their own importance.
It meant that they had tickets on themselves. I guess that got lost in translation.

True.. I've never heard "tickets please" used for that intent... Only used when someone is enjoying the spectacle. So sorry... You are correct.. in your analogy though.. I'm done with it.. ignore it and perhaps it will go away.

I don't not take pride in closing threads at these boards but since this thread is no longer about the original topic, it's now closed.
