Trump's whole consciousness is based on what he watches of FOX. If FOX decides to ignore the story and instead focus on Panda bear mating dysfunction, Trump will likely not tweet about the 3 terrorist's convictions. |

If FOX decides to ignore the story and instead focus on Panda bear mating dysfunction, Trump will likely not tweet about the 3 terrorist's convictions. As I watched Nicole Wallace this afternoon, one member of her panel referred to it as "TV run state" instead of the other way around. He went on to say that Trump responds to what he sees on Fox, he tweets about it, they reinforce his statements. It's a very symbiotic relationship. They both need the other to prosper. |

I don't tend to respond to tweets with one of my own on Twitter, but did so yesterday, noting that these "gentlemen" would probably have a hard time getting MAGA hats where they're going, and also wished them a nice stay "inside." Got a reply from some troll calling me a bigot. I found that an interesting (and telling) reply.

In Kansas, Three Found Guilty of Plot to Bomb Somalis Apartment Complex.WICHITA, Kan. — A federal court jury on Wednesday found three men guilty of plotting to bomb a western Kansas apartment complex that is home to Somali immigrants and their mosque, in a crime prosecutors branded an act of domestic terrorism. The men, whom prosecutors described as members of a right-wing militia group, were also convicted of conspiracy to violate the civil rights of their intended victims in Garden City, Kansas. Each defendant - Curtis Allen, Gavin Wright and Patrick Eugene Stein - faces a maximum penalty of life in prison when sentenced on June 27. In addition, Wright was found guilty of lying to the FBI in connection with the 2016 plot. In closing arguments on Tuesday, prosecutors said the three men, all of whom are white, were out to kill as many of the residents as possible and send the message to the Somali immigrants that they were not welcome in the United States. "Terrorists, whether they be foreign or domestic, must be stopped and punished according to the law," U.S. Attorney Stephen McAllister told reporters after the verdict was delivered in a Wichita courtroom. |

This will certainly be appealed. These three requested the jurors be selected from rural communities in Kansas instead of from the Wichita metropolitan area. Their attorneys stated the jury would have more Trump supporters if selected from those living in the small rural areas. And, these three were part of a group of extremists who spoke of the Muslim Somalians as "cockroaches that need exterminating".
Traveling, today, we happened on to an NPR interview with one of the Somalian ladies from Garden City. The Somalian immigrants are hard workers, mainly employed in the beef packing plants in southwest Kansas. When this threat was uncovered, the entire group of Somalians did not know what to do. They feared for their lives! Do they move away from Garden City and face a similar threat elsewhere? She said the community came out en masse, comforting them and trying to support them. They are staying in Garden City as they found they are not strangers living in a community but are accepted as an important part of the community.
Yes. These three should be referred to as terrorists. They are trash! And, undoubtedly supported and applauded for their terroristic threats by a significant portion of the Trump base.

I doubt that there is a connection, there are millions of non-terrorists out there that have facial hair. You are correct and the vast bulk of them are female  |
