I would love to get a wireless camera with motion sensor to capture visitors to my hummingbird feeders. In the meantime, I scramble to get my cell phone upon spotting a feeder visitor. I think that's our local woodpecker, that peck-peck-pecks on the telephone pole by the property.

Good afternoon to all- Yes, it is a grand time to be out with the birds right now. this morning I heard our first oriole of the year, and hummingbirds have been around for a while. The swallow-tailed kites are back. so it's soring down here on the coast for sure. good day to all-Ed

Our local quail covey is "on patrol" in the front yard.
I'm glad to see them around, five years of drought had thinned out their numbers considerably.
In the pre-dought times it was common to see these numbers

Wow, look at the drumsticks on those guys... Here's some more bird feeder Candid Camera:
One of a bunch of hummingbirds that hang out around the feeders.
A Scott's Oriole. I believe they are or were nesting in one of the pine trees.

Who doesn't love a good live stream osprey cam? This is from Cape Cod. We walked out here a few weeks ago, but the nest is quite far from the marsh. Osprey Cam
