They are disgraceful specimens who have failed to grasp the reality that in 2018 women are refusing to shut up and cop it sweet when it comes to past and present ill treatment at the hands of men and boys.

Actually, only one of Cosby's victims was still within the statute of limitations for the state in which the crime occurred. Other women were able to testify to show a pattern of conduct but he was never charged with these offences.
Kavanaugh is not on trial. He is simply being vetted for a new job. However, if the judiciary committee does not examine these new allegations nor allows the FBI to reopen the background check that all federal employees are subject to, I think we could see a Supreme Court Justice being investigated and charged for crimes committed in a state where attempted rape is a felony with any statute of limitations.
Such charges would be under state law and not subject to presidential pardon.
Under that sort of cloud, would you take him on as a new employee who had an air tight contract for the term of his natural life? I would want a bit more investigating before I made that decision.

I suspect that these images are enhanced. Nevertheless I have seen each of these men and seen the anger and hatred that dwells within. Their very souls seem to be on fire. The anger and hatred is a common denominator, the political media figures display the anger and hatred in the tone of their voices, words and the expressions on their faces, without exception. The ordinary citizen's that consume such right wing commentary become infected with the anger and hatred, I see this everywhere I go.

I never get that angry. Most of the time I am unable to rise above feeling somewhat cranky. I can feel passionately about some things, particularly injustice but I have never been in a state of spitting rage about anyone or anything.

I never get that angry. Most of the time I am unable to rise above feeling somewhat cranky. I can feel passionately about some things, particularly injustice but I have never been in a state of spitting rage about anyone or anything. The anger and hatred is dispensed generously by the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Alex Jones , Laura Ingraham, etc. That's what present day dyed-in-the-wool Republicans experience in their day to day perceptions of life. The anger and hatred is an emotionally programmed response to imagined danger. As President Barack Obama said: "Ever notice how they are always mad and unhappy even when they win?" The anger and hatred is a mental illness that the Right promotes as a measure of control over the working class voters, who lend their support to policies that mostly benefit the wealthy and corporate interests.

When watching Kavanaugh's performance before the senators - did anyone else want to say, "For God's sake, man, blow your nose."?

God bless him. I do hope history remembers his as more than just a one term president and peanut farmer.
