Made a full day of work!  My employees took me out for lunch and we had wonderful luncheon it very nice to sit once again in my office Spoke to D.A. and ha!! I have court assessment they ask me to do for defendant for upcoming trial ha!! Nice to be back!!  |

Today was another day off. Did all the housework Sunday and all the laundry Monday, so today what I did was a do nothing day... Kinda of boring,, told my mom I'd rather been at work.

Got full body coconut oil massages. Then to our Asian fusion restaurant for a yummy gourmet lunch. Shopping at the mall. Walked to dinner later.

Worked almost 6 hours. Tis that time of year when work is slow. Got back to the shop, got my paycheck and my W-2!! Came home, brewed a K-cup, and did my taxes on line, via turbo tax.. Getting a nice refund  |

Yesterday - Thursday - Skyped my sister since it was her 69th birthday. Ordered her a book from Amazon on the brief history of Ireland since we're going together in May. Told sister I donate the church here when I go with husband, but that I give all my coins to one of the Buddhist temples. She was horrified. She's strict Catholic and you would have thought I said I donated to satan worshippers.
Got in touch with a cousin I haven't talked to in decades. We had a nice FB chat. Found out she was left wing like me.

Going to see the movie "Vice" today... then out to dinner.
Oscar nominees come out next Tuesday so I can see if there are any I haven't seen and be sure to catch them before the awards.

Still recouping from a cervical biopsy, I now remember why I avoid certain I've been avoiding this doc, but, when one has unexplained bleeding, what is one to do. But, I don't remember feeling this uncomfortable after I had this procedure 5 years ago for the same reason. Oh well better to get it done and over with, but have another follow-up procedure scheduled for Feb 1. Not worried, just really tired and having some discomfort, but not as much, from yesterday's procedure.
I did manage to do a load of laundry and cook some food to get me through the part of the weekend.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Still recouping from a cervical biopsy, I now remember why I avoid certain I've been avoiding this doc, but, when one has unexplained bleeding, what is one to do. But, I don't remember feeling this uncomfortable after I had this procedure 5 years ago for the same reason. Oh well better to get it done and over with, but have another follow-up procedure scheduled for Feb 1. Not worried, just really tired and having some discomfort, but not as much, from yesterday's procedure. I did manage to do a load of laundry and cook some food to get me through the part of the weekend. Hope everyone has a nice weekend. That does sound unpleasant, rosa427! I hope the discomfort doesn't last long, and that everything will turn out okay for you in relation to these tests. |

Hope you continue feeling better.. Yesterday must have been gyne day... I had and appointment with mine too.. Nothing serious.. but haven't been in the stirrups in eight years.. Now I remember.. Thank you, feeling much better at the moment. Yes, GYN day indeed it was. Like you I haven't been in stirrups for some years, five here, last time for this same reason. Not looking forward to Feb 1st. FYI for the men and the "oh my", handkerchief ladies, you all might want to stop reading, so, don't say I didn't warn you.They had the audacity to have a young male student in the room through the whole procedure. I'm used to being asked if it would be okay, they just sent him in the room prior to the physician and had him ask preliminary questions before seeing the physician. The whole time when he was in alone with me, I had a WTF look on my face. Plus the nurse had just been in before asking many of the same questions. I didn't want to be difficult considering I was already anxious enough and just didn't want to draw anymore attention to myself than necessary. But normally these days, I prefer a female doc to examine my vag, haven't let a male pry down there for the past, well anyway, I'm got over and am over myself. After it was done and over with the yougnin and I were besties. I'm glad all was good for you. After my upcoming visit and all checks out, I don't plan on having anymore gyn visits ever again if I can avoid it. If I were younger, I would get my regular exams, but at this stage of my life, nothing to see worth mentioning, I just keep it to myself next time. |
