Pulled the trigger on a new car. Put down the deposit. Pick it up on Monday, late afternoon. My wife is psyched! Leasing it for 36 months.

Stayed in most of the day - both of us reading. Went out about 3:30 pm and rode our bikes to a restaurant we hadn't been to yet this year. Stopped at a small bar for a couple of beers on the way home. Watched some tv and to bed early.

Visited my office today everyone so glad to see me. Went to Chinatown, bought medicinal herbs at apothecary very cold out! Took Metro to Pentagon City (huge mall). Felt nice to be up and around  |

In addition to the beautiful metallic red paint, the interior is a nice blonde with charcoal trim. Nice ride. Plenty of power. Really comfortable seats. She's going to love it. We'll do a 3 year lease with 7,500 miles per year since this is likely to be used more for local trips. |

Spent much of the day cooking making meals to tide me over for several days, so I won't have to do much more food prep. I'll just have to reheat most of my meals.

Got up to stay well past 1 pm, tested blood sugar, weighed myself, had a bite to eat, sat myself down in front of the computer, and here I remain at 3:30 pm. Oh, what a busy life! 
I may get ambitious later, make popcorn, watch a movie. "A woman's work is never done!"  |

Yesterday I worked out... had my nails done.. and hubby and I tried out a new recipe.. we made the Greek dish Mousakka…. (eggplant lasagna) It turned out pretty good.. but way high in calories.
Today, I've done nothing but eat breakfast.. and then lunch.. and we will be going out to dinner in a few hours... Tonight is the last night of my Birthday Week... so we are going to splurge.. Steak and cocktails... Like I need to eat more.

Out and about with my friend Xiao we eat lunch at nice diner had grilled pork chops... so good!!! Expecting snow tonight brrr not like winter!!

Went out to see "Green Book" today and loved it! The movie will surely be in contention for an Oscar (or several). The story was very interesting and the two main characters really made the movie. Kept my interest throughout.
Found out a local magazine featured some of my photographs in their latest edition and ran a story on my hobby. That was kind of cool.

Birthday week is officially over.. It ended last night with dinner at Wildfires..A HUGE chopped salad, a 10 oz fillet mignon,(So rare that a talented Vet like Dr.Pol could bring it back to life) roasted veggies, complimentary birthday cake and of course TWO martinis. DONE.... I have gained 8 pounds since Thanksgiving..
Today I feel like hell... It's 11:30am.. and I'm still in my pajamas.. Hubby is straightening out the basement so the window installers can reach the basement windows tomorrow. I'm planning on doing nothing other than fix a dinner of baked fish and salad... and that's where it all stands as of now.
