Sunny, lower humidity, about 85F. The sea is finally calming down so we are booking a snorkel trip.

45*F? Luxury. Try 45*C.
Still it does come with plenty of sunshine. Yes, 45ºF is a luxury, especially when temps have been below 20ºF with lots of snow. No thanks trying 45ºC. Too warm for me. Then you need to demand your government take every possible step towards zero carbon dioxide/methane emissions as a matter of urgency.
Australia is like the frog in water that is slowly being heated over a fire. It is getting uncomfortably hot but still people are blaming everything else but climate change. We are experiencing, all at once, record heat waves, drought, torrential rain and massive floods, uncontrollable wild fires, millions of dead fish in our major river system and dead horses in dry river beds. Add to that a puzzling absence of lots of once common insects.
Still the climate change denying politicians are demanding new coal mines and power stations. The frog is doomed unless we stop them.

Snowstorm. 20F. Schools are closed again.
We are having an unusually cold and snowy winter. My hope is that this weather will kill off the Japanese Beetles which took over my deck garden and Linden tree last Summer.

Sunny, 85ish. Nice breeze.
Scotland is having record breaking temps for Feb - mid 60's. By the time we arrive home in a week I doubt it will be above 50. If it's dry I'll be happy.

Started out as snow this morning, then turned to rain. Still raining. A lazy day.

A rather mild day, up until 3 PM. Reached 48ºF...then, the high winds kicked in, temps dropped into the low 30's with light snow.

About 85 and partly cloudy. A few people have asked us why we don't move here and my reply is that I can't be hot all year long. I do enjoy some nice temps in the 60's especially when it's sunny.

We're in the midst of a mini deep freeze, which isn't expected to start moderating until Thursday. We've had very strong westerly winds to go along with it, and frostbite warnings have been issued. At 10:17 pm tonight, temperatures are -13C/9F (with wind chill factor -24C/-11F). Brrrr!
