My only "hobby" is golf. Play a lot of golf. Over the years have spent many hours and many dollars on this dastardly frustrating game. Have met so many fantastic people and made lifelong friendships. This morning, my game was so bad one would have thought I was on the course for the first time in my life. Yet, I don't get upset. Don't throw clubs. Don't use foul language. So many would give their right arm to have the physical, financial, emotional ability to be outside on a golf course smelling the fresh cut grass. I will take every day out there as a "gift"... and treat it as such!
Over the years we've collected some specific coins. My wife has done so much beautiful crochet work. She has pretty well settled in to reading books and playing "Words With Friends" on her tablet with daughters and cousins. She will read 3 to 4 books/week. I also read quite a bit. My reading goes in spurts. One week I'll read two or three books. Then I'll go a week and not read any. We both still enjoy reading "paper" and don't do much in the e-book realm.

My leisure pursuits are photography, bicycling, occasional hiking, sometimes kayak or canoe, reading, jigsaw puzzles.
I don't count working out as a hobby! Travel a lot but don't know if I'd count that as a 'hobby'.

Can someone bring me a glass of water and my recliner????!!!!!

When I was younger and had horses, riding was my hobby, my passion, and probably even an addiction. I lived for the time spent happily riding down country trails and through the woods, either alone, or with friends or family. From as early on as I can remember, I was “horse-crazy”, and the day that I got my first pony had to have been about the happiest day of my life . Now, I live in town, can’t have anything except a pet or two, and could not take care of a horse any more, even if I did have one. But reading, and also knitting and crocheting have become my wintertime pastimes, and yard work and gardening during the rest of the year.

I have many diversions, I enjoy martial arts and Jian (sword) competitions. I love to read and reading is a passion for me. I do enjoy the art of pénjǐng which is known by the Japanese name Bonsai... I love gardening and bike riding. To relax and also meditate, I turn to Tai Chi... Since being with rebecca2013, I have discovered I enjoy horseback riding as well....

I really don't think I have any hobbies... and that was a big concern for me when I was contemplating retiring.. I was worried that my lack of a hobby or a "passion" would make my retirement boring... it hasn't..
There are things I enjoy doing... gardening... cooking... keeping up with politics... fitness.. BUT nothing that I can classify as a real hobby.. Just enjoyable interests..
My son brought that up the other night.. "Mom... you need to find something you really want to do".... My response? There is nothing that I really WANT to do... there are lots of things that I enjoy and like to do... when the mood hits me.. If it doesn't... that's ok.. I LOVE the freedom of being in control of what I do and when I do it. No more marching to the beat of other folks drums... My drum is the only one that counts.
NOW.. if suddenly come across an activity that really lights my fire.. I'll for sure pursue it.. If not? That's ok too.

I am not sure if it counts as a hobby; but a definite interest that I have now is in living heathy, taking care of my (aging) body, and doing whatever exercises that i can do. Both my husband and myself work at taking care of ourselves, and we go to the fitness center several times each week, sometimes more, and sometimes less, depending on the weather and what our weekly schedule is. We have one room in the house that is the “exercise room” and it has the stationary bicycle, and my husband’s workout equipment. We also just moved our old television in there and set it up so that we can either watch something on Youtube, netflix, or just listen to music while we exercise. In the winter we do not get outside nearly as much as we do in the rest of the year; so this should help us from getting cabin fever when the weather is bad. I don’t think that this has gotten to the point of being an addiction yet; but it is kind of being a hobby of sorts.

Before I got my lung problem, I had lots of hobbies. Frisbee golf, free style Frisbee, ball golf, fishing, hiking, hunting, skiing, and making beer. Hope I can get back to them before I get too old, if I get my lungs fixed.

Riding and training mules, hound dogs, and trying to train my husband...whoops impossible. Hiking and photography, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, and hunting coyotes. All hobbies. Riding and hiking are addicting.

Oh, I adore cooking too! I always got an interest in this and after moving from parents to my own house I had enough practice with this, I still adore cooking and almost everything I've made was really delicious However baking is the only thing in this case in which I'm not good at all I adore reading very much too, it's a hobby from my childhood years and a good book was always the best for me in case of spending free time. I collect favourite books too, as also CDs with music of some of my favourite bands and wooden models. In case of the last ones I prefer the models which I can assemble and colour with my own hands. Travelling is my other big hobby, I really want to visit as many places as I can because it's always such an unreal experience! And I also like dancing, photography and playing computer games sometimes but not very often, I'm not obsessed with them

, it's such an interesting and relaxing process for me! Travelling is my other big hobby, I really want to visit as many places as I can because it's always such an unreal experience! And I also like dancing, photography and playing computer games sometimes but not very often, I'm not obsessed with them Baking is an exact science,,, as long as follow the recipes there is no problem,,, once you get comfortable, changing up recipes is quite easy to turn a recipe into your own. I started baking brownies when I a kid,, I turned the basic brownie recipe into my own with a few tweaks, as well as sugar cookies into lightly spiced sugar cookies by adjusting the wet to dry ratio's. as well as many other baked goodies, cakes, pastry;s, breads, etc... And cooking,, if only I had a 6 burner, dual oven and center grill gas Viking stove
