Guide on reporting a post.
This is a guide on when and how to report a post. We at Take Refuge Forum pride ourselves on the family friendly atmosphere we have created for your enjoyment. We realize that not everyone will agree with everyone else on any given topic. We also realize that just as in real life, the forum environment can mimic that reality, therefore we have suggested some helpful guidelines for you to follow while enjoying your stay with us.
"What should be reported?"
Anything that is illegal keeping in mind the "PG-13" nature of ProBoards including but not limited to:
1). Pornagraphy of any kind [including child porn].
2). Direct threats against another member including threats of physical violence and/or harassment.
3). Excessive use of vulgar or demeaning/derogatory language.
4). Posting of racist/discriminating material (including but not limited to photographs, hate speech, use of the "N" word or any other racial epithet). [it is alright to call someone an idiot, though].
5). Anything that is generally considered "NSFW" (not safe for work) or not of a "PG-13" nature.
The above list is not an 'all-inclusive' list, but a fair representation of what should be reported as questionable content.
"What should NOT be reported."
1). Frivolous name calling (example: jerkwad, fudge head, dweeb, alkie, etc.).
2). Posts that you think should be somewhere else in the forum (unless you are the author and are requesting the move).
3). Someone just because you don't like them.
4). Your missing car keys, watch or other personal effects. (people included).
5). Anything that is NOT aimed directly at you in a direct demeaning or threatening way UNLESS it is of an illegal nature.

We politely ask that members not report posts to staff through the PM system unless the post in question is of an illegal nature. Otherwise, it will be ignored.
The "report post button" is located in the upper right hand corner of every post.
Click the button and you will see a drop down menu. Click the "report post" option.

A window will open with a text box for you to type your reason for reporting the post. When finished typing your reason, click the "report post" button in the bottom right of the window. A message will appear saying "This post has been reported.". Click "close window" and you are done.
