Thanks for asking, becca. #huggy
Turns out it's a ganglion cyst in the palm, attached to a tendon. It's painful at times, especially if I accidentally put pressure on the area, and it affects the finger attached to that tendon. I think it will need to be surgically removed eventually, a simple operation by a plastic surgeon.

I know what that is I had one in my right wrist they fixed it when they did the carpal tunnel in my right wrist. Wow that would be so much worse in your palm. I hope they fix that soon for you. (((hugs))))

It's in my left palm, and I'm left-handed, so it's problematic enough that I know it will have to be dealt with eventually, probably through surgery. Like you, I have osteoarthritis in my digits, also my wrists and entire spine. These, along with heart and other health issues, make me sometimes jokingly describe myself as like an old car whose various parts are wearing out, lol. Aging is such fun....NOT really...but it's better than the alternative. I've no legitimate reason to complain. There are others so much worse off. Tylenol Arthritis is my 'friend' and I continue to happily and gratefully enjoy life.
