Just finished reading "You, Me, and The Sea" by Meg Donohue. It was so enjoyable and well written. The end of the book had me crying (in a good way.) That has never happened to me with a novel before. Here is a synopsis: www.harpercollins.com/9780062913562/you-me-and-the-sea/

Did you enjoy it or learn anything that hasn't been reported in the news?

Did you enjoy it or learn anything that hasn't been reported in the news? There was very little in this book that I hadn't already heard or read. About halfway through I started speed reading to get through it.

Re-reading one of my all time favorite books The Complete Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by The late great Douglas Adams if you never read I highly recommend it if you like humor much in the same vein as Monty Python and science fiction

According to Goodreads, I'm currently reading 4 books. But I've switched from The Man Who Sold America by Joy Reid (AM Joy), to the recently released Rachel Maddow A Biography by Lisa Rogak. I can tell I'll fly through this one.

I so miss having access to my library, I hear they have some libraries in the area, I will have to see what the requirements are to be able to borrow. I need to read a good book, I really don't want to stare at my chromebook screen to do it though, but, I'm going to have to give it a chance, I'm getting desperate at this state now that I've decided to spend a few days now and then just chilling at my temporary home.

Caste: The Origins of our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson
Beyond race or class, our lives are defined by a powerful, unspoken system of divisions. In Caste, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Isabel Wilkerson gives an astounding portrait of this hidden phenomenon. Linking America, India and Nazi Germany, Wilkerson reveals how our world has been shaped by caste - and how its rigid, arbitrary hierarchies still divide us today.
