www.golf.com/gear/2020/04/02/slow-motion-golf-ball-water-effects/Amazing! 2 to 5 degrees difference in launch angle between whether the golf ball and/or the golf club are wet vs. dry. We've always been known as "dew sweepers", playing very early in the mornings when there is dew on the fairways and greens. Now I am going to have to take a calculator to the course and plug in different mathematical formulas depending on the moisture in the air, on the fairways, etc. Why, that could make a yard or two difference in distance from club to club and in spin on the greens. If... IF I had the talent to actually strike the ball exactly same from swing to swing! And... with my level of competence... it ain't gonna make a bit of difference!!! Interesting reading, though, for a golfer with an engineering background!!! :>)

Here is one of my diversions...exploring how to get some more interesting effects from Infrared Photography and understanding the light spectrum we cannot see. Converted camera with a 550nm light filter. Enjoy. This is beautiful. I love it.

formerlyme ~ Have you read any of the Clan of the Cave Bear series by Jean Auel? I loved those books. They were about Neanderthals and humans living together. The books came out in the 1980's. I would love to read them again.

I only read the first two books. I loved the first one, the second one not quite as much. Someday I might try the rest of the series.
