After a bad weekend, I connected with my Doctor by phone today, and she insists I go to Emergency to be checked out, EKG, chest x-ray, etc., etc. She wants to book me to see my cardiologist again, too. Wish me luck that I get some solid answers, and I'll touch base when I'm back home. I am so glad you connected with your doctor and tests were scheduled for today! Sure hope they find out what is causing these fainting spells for you and can put a stop to them! I wish you ALL the luck there is!!!

Just catching up from busy busy days with hubby and his feeling wobbly and faint. He was taken off from Amlodipine for his BP. I would take his BP before he got up and then after he stood up. There was a marked difference but the side effect was feeling dizzy.
He and his primary are not on agreement as to how to replace the meds and he said he'd rather do without which of course could cause other issues.
Like you, he says he is tired of it all. So I really get what you are saying.
He is tired of constantly seeing doctors and having meds changed as if he is an experiment.
Hopefully you can find some help soon. Fainting is not a good thing! I'm thinking of you!

...louie's post on side affects of meds reminded me of the time I was having dizzy spells to the point of almost fainting, come to find out it was the Zyrtec-D that I was taking for allergy problems, I was allergic to the 'D' part of the meds....so I'm just passing this on and hoping that you get some answers to the cause of your problem...wishing you good luck and healing.
