Tucked up safely in a secure building, I hope. We were fine in our house which isn't right on the beach. The gardeners chopped down any loose branches, knocked down coconuts etc before the storm. Calm now. It wasn't like a hurricane where we were. It was actually like a breeze compared to what we get in Scotland in winter.

Light snow on the ground, 26F and gloomy. We had sun for 2 days which made me realize how dirty my windows are! Sorry, Warrigal, I don't understand your picture. Please explain.

We have been having an extended heat wave, hot enough to melt all the chocolates as shown in the photo. For over a week I have only been venturing outside the house to attend to a bit of washing, and then only early in the morning or very late in the afternoon.
Relief has now arrived and temperatures have dropped to a more comfortable level.

Didn't get out of the mid 20's today, with sleet. With the wind, it feels like it's in the teens.

Strange weather this afternoon. Reached 38º F for a high with some sunshine. Then a thunderstorm rolled in with sleet, followed by the most spectacular rainbow!

23 degrees snowing with 20MPH winds. My ninety year old father put his car in the ditch this morning. He has to hold congress with the other seniors at the diner, every day no excuses. He is about 30 miles North of me. Wow bad up that way. Roads were covered 6 inches or so, I was breaking drifts with the bumper.
